Sunday March 18 on listener powered WPKN

It is with much regret that we announce the passing of WPKN Programmer and long-time volunteer, John Friderichs, better known as J.F. and Nazmo King, on Friday March 9. We are grateful for his commitment and dedication to WPKN over the years, and we will miss his friendship and support.

The WPKN family recently lost our old friend Jabari Parks who was co-host of Black Introspectives and Talking Drum with Ameni Harris for many years at WPKN before relocating with his family to Virginia. Ameni Harris remembers Jabari
