Steve welcomes Chris Sanchez as his “Guest DJ” from 10pm to 12 midnight. Sanchez is a musician, recording engineer, and record collector living in Stratford, CT. For Steve’s show he’s put together a program that he calls ‘the Devil in God’s House.’ It is an examination of Gospel music themes and tropes in rock music of the Nixon era. Blues-Rock, Country-Rock, and Folk Rock have been popular forms since the 1960s, but the Gospel Rock strain has never been as well recognized. When Sanchez is not digging through crates of dusty records at area flea markets and estate sales, he can be found at Gold Coast Recorders, the recording studio that he runs in Bridgeport CT.
