Hofstra University Professor of modern European history Stan Pugliese talks about Carlo Levi’s 1939 essay “Fear of Freedom”.  Prof. Pugliese’s specialty is the anti-Fascist movement in Italy.  His introduction to a new edition of Levi’s essay  brings the subject up to date.
