Saturday April 30: EARTH DAY AT NEW MORNING IN WOODBURY, CT

There’ll be more than 100 exhibitors sampling the latest in natural and organic food and products, many handmade in CT. It’s your chance to meet and chat with people from every walk of the natural living lifestyle, who are passionate about what they do and why they do it.

WPKN Radio’s Bob Costanzo and Doug Echols, hosts of the “Car Bob Show” are broadcasting LIVE from the event on WPKN 89.5 FM from 9am-11am.

Look for WPKN’s Johnnie B. Good, Dave Schwartz, Mike Mitchell and roving reporter, Merrell Collins.

At noon:  a guided Woodbury herb walk hosted by WPKN radio personality and educator, Dr. Eugene Zampieron. Check in at the Information booth for directions.
Kids play all day: from petting a young calf from Stonewall Dairy Farm to horses from EARS (Equine Animal Rescue Sanctuary of New Milford), to bird feeders, seed planting and face painting.

From 1-3pm: Singer/Songwriter Doug Mahard with an eclectic mix of music!

Wellness Area: get healthy living advice from local naturopaths. The NW Vegan Outreach Association on healthy eating and why adopting a vegan lifestyle is good for the environment.

Environmental and local non-profit groups like the CT Northeast Organic Farming Association, the Audubon Center at Bent of the River and Flanders Nature Center.
