Live Music Broadcast from New Haven
With music that spans the Modern/Primitive/Classical/Folk/Jazz categories, WPKN will present a live broadcast of a concert by Prester John, featuring Shawn Persinger- Guitar & Vocals and David Miller- Mandolin & Vocals. Here is a free download from Prester John’s album “Desire for a Straight Line.” The venue is Lyric Hall in New Haven, CT, which is a completely renovated 1913 Vaudeville Music Hall! Visually it’s unique, and perhaps a little confusing — the front is an antique shop; the back room, with side entrance, is the Music Hall. This is our first broadcast from Lyric Hall and we’re excited about the intimate acoustics.
