A concert by The Beating Wings Orchestra recorded at the Manchester International Festival.  Composed by  Palestinian writer and vocalist Reem Kelani, the 30 minute piece was presented by an international ensemble of refugee and resident musicians and singers. The Beating Wings Orchestra was formed to experiment, play, create and perform challenging new music that draws on a global music vocabulary. This will be the first North American broadcast of the work.
