Peppy is a close friend and terrific storyteller. We’ll talk about the early days, helping to invent psychedelic music, going on the road with The Who on their first US tour, playing with Hendrix, etc. Also performing on Broadway in the lead role of Hair. Working with Ahmet Ertegun. Doing jingles. Writing for Cher, Diana Ross, Kiss and others. Releasing current albums with several different bands. 2) Health Care Reform and Mass. Senate Election: Dr. Rachel Nardin, Chief, Division of Neurology, Cambridge Health Alliance; Assistant Professor of Neurology, Harvard Medical School and chair of the Massachusetts chapter of the group Physicians for a National Health Program discusses the results of her state’s special senate election and the connection to public opinion re: Massachusetts’ health care system, which is in part, what national health reform legislation is based.
