In addition to being one of the first morning men on WNEW-FM in New York after it became a progressive rock station in the late ’60s and changing the programming from beautiful music to rock on WLIR-FM on Long Island, Mr. Harrison has been a station owner and an editor for Radio and Records. He also created album oriented rock radio in the ’80s. Currently he publishes Talkers Magazine, a daily summary of what’s going on in the talk radio industry.
