The Emotion Roadmap: Take the Wheel and Control How You Feel – “This week I interview Dr. Marc Brackett of Yale. Marc will be leading a center at Yale called Emotional Intelligence in Schools. I have worked with Marc and he is a leading researcher, psychologist, and entrepreneur in emotional intelligence. Given the horrific events in Newtown, Connecticut and similar school shootings, I believe we need a long term strategy to make the world a safer, more peaceful place. It begins with people learning to be more emotionally intelligent, starting as early as pre-school. Listen to Dr. Brackett’s ideas about emotional intelligence in schools, K-12. Marc is also a member of the Board for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way foundation and he is helping Facebook with anti-bullying.”
