7 PM: Songtrails: Caroline Doctorow with folk and roots based music plus the local spotlight on Long Island musicians.
This evening, Songtrails will feature music from the Texas based Grammy winning folk artist Nanci Griffith and the long-awaited artists’ tribute to Nanci Griffith, TROUBLE IN THE FIELDS, on Paradiddle Records. ( a Long Island based label ).
The album was produced by Pete and Maura Kennedy. In addition to The Kennedys, it features tracks from Tom Russell, Amy Rigby, Tracy Grammer & Jim Henry, Red Molly, Stacy Earle & Mark Stuart, the late John Stewart and others.
8 PM SOCA Showcase: Icon
10 PM: Mikki’s Room: a room filled with African-American and Native American music
