Soundchecks features our friend and neighbor psychotherapist Patricia Burrows of Westport who was there at the creation of the folk music revolution in the 60s.  A precocious 15 year old cashier at Izzy Young’s Folklore Center in the Village, Patty crossed paths with Dave Van Ronk, Oscar Brand, Ed McCurdy, Tommy Makem & the Clancy Brothers, Peter Paul & Mary and more. In a WPKN exclusive, Patty takes us back to the music of McDougal Street and the day “a gorgeous young guy with curly hair” walked in and asked her “Where can I find Woody?”
