It is with much regret that we announce the passing of WPKN Programmer and long-time volunteer, John Friderichs, better known as J.F. and Nazmo King, on Friday March 9. We are grateful for his commitment and dedication to WPKN over the years, and we will miss his friendship and support.

WPKN continues its celebration of Women’s History Month today
Join us HERE AT WPKN as we look at the women’s movement, women in media, women in the military, women in music, health, and business. In a special we call “Speaking of Women,” WPKN women programmers will be joined by representatives of local women’s organizations, national experts, authors. Programming includes contributions from WPKN’s Hazel Kahan and Melinda Tuhus and others.
We’ll be asking our dedicated WPKN listening audience to join in with phone calls and donations to this listener-supported radio station during this 2 day special..
