Since the turn of the last century artists have been singing about, poking fun at and lamenting over the power of drugs and alcohol in our lives.   Programming material includes a wide array of music, interviews with users and people in recovery and substance abuse treatment centers, additional commentary, etc.    As always, music continues to reflect our personal, social, cultural and political history over time and within these two days WPKN takes an in depth look at a complex subject and brings our unique mix of music, commentary, personal stories and community resources to bear in a way that is entertaining, informative and uniquely WPKN.
