Erector Square, 315 Peck Street in New Haven More than thirty artists will be offering an array of works in a wide range of media. Visitors can bid on works through a silent auction…great works of art, at a great price, with proceeds from all sales going to support WPKN , 89.5 FM. This year’s ArtFest is taking place on the first weekend of City-Wide Open Studios, New Haven’s popular visual arts event that is sponsored by ArtSpace and celebrates the creative work of hundreds of visual artists throughout the New Haven area. On Friday night, October 14th, there will be an Opening and Preview party, 7pm-10pm with music, food, and an opportunity to meet the artists as well as WPKN programmers, staff, and fellow listeners. ArtFest gallery will be open from 10am- 5pm.. Visitors can also see the studios of dozens of other working artists and craftspeople who are part of the Erector Square community.
