  • 2pm Steve welcomes HP Newquist, author, former editor-in-chief of Guitar Magazine and the founder of the National Guitar Museum, “dedicated to the evolution and cultural impact of the guitar.” The group’s first exhibit ‘The Guitar: The Instrument that Rocked the World’ has made its debut at Bridgeport’s Discovery Museum. The exhibit will travel over the next few years to Orlando, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and other cities. Also joining us will be Jeff Bishop, the executive director of The Discovery Museum in Bridgeport. Newquist, who wrote the book “The Legends of Guitar.” He will be a my guest DJ as well and play some of his favorite guitar tracks.
