Sutfin runs his own recording studio in Durham, CT and will talk about many CT bands who have recorded there. He also plays in The Jackies, and his wife is in a band called Stark Raving Lulu. All three bands – Peacock Flounders, The Jackies, Stark Raving Lulu are playing at Cafe Nine in February.

WPKN’s Marleython – Saturday Feb 5 and Sunday Feb 6

Sunday, January 30th, 2011

WPKN’s Annual Bob Marley Reggae Marathon – The Marleython – will commence at 6am Saturday the 5th through Sunday the 6th at 6pm (with a break for Songtrails – roots based music with Caroline Doctorow from 7pm to 8pm Saturday evening).

Saturday evening at about 10 pm we feature a live Broadcast from Stella Blues Cafe 204 Crown Street in New Haven with two Reggae Bands – Gnaustic Roots and Inity Band.

Join in the celebration! We will be offering the following premiums as thankyou gifts when you call us at 203 – 384 – 9756 and pledge to contribute to WPKN:
