Borosage assesses the mood of voters and the goal of the GOP to dismantle the New Deal programs born in the Great Depression under FDR.

David Swanson, co-founder of AfterDowningStreet.org, Washington Director of Democrats.com, a board member of Progressive Democrats of America and author of “Daybreak: Undoing the Imperial Presidency and Forming a More Perfect Union”. Robert Greenwald, producer, director, political activist and founder and president of Brave New Films. His documentaries include, “Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism“, “Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price” and “Rethink Afghanistan.” He assesses the use of media in politics during the 2010 Congressional election campaign — and the post-election strategy for the U.S. progressive movement.

Tom Swan, executive director of the Connecticut Citizen Action Group, the state’s oldest and largest multi-issue social justice organization, discusses CT election results, including the close race for governor – and the statewide progressive agenda in the year ahead.

Some segments of Counterpoint are edited for re-broadcast on the syndicated Between The Lines radio newsmagazine.
