Borosage assesses the mood of voters and the goal of the GOP to dismantle the New Deal programs born in the Great Depression under FDR.
David Swanson, co-founder of AfterDowningStreet.org, Washington Director of Democrats.com, a board member of Progressive Democrats of America and author of “Daybreak: Undoing the Imperial Presidency and Forming a More Perfect Union”. He looks at the election results for progressives, next steps and discusses his recent article, “A Job Party.”
Robert Greenwald, producer, director, political activist and founder and president of Brave New Films. His documentaries include, “Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism“, “Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price” and “Rethink Afghanistan.” He assesses the use of media in politics during the 2010 Congressional election campaign — and the post-election strategy for the U.S. progressive movement.
Tom Swan, executive director of the Connecticut Citizen Action Group, the state’s oldest and largest multi-issue social justice organization, discusses CT election results, including the close race for governor – and the statewide progressive agenda in the year ahead.
