Two members of the Connecticut band THE STEPKIDS – who label their sound as “psychedelic soul” – stopped by WPKN to talk about the band, their self-titled album, which is set for release in 2011 on Stones Throw Records, and their new label.  Tim Walsh and Jeff Gitelman of The Stepkids in conversation with CT Rocks host Bob D’Aprile, along with  many tracks from The Stepkids’ album, currently only available on live shows.                         The Stepkids will be at Cafe Nine in New Haven (Wednesday, 11/24) and at the Heirloom Arts Theater in Danbury (Friday, 11/26)
Connecticut Rocks! is heard on the 1st, 3rd, 4th Mondays 2am to 6am, 2nd Tuesdays 10pm to 2am
