A Radio Tube That Tears

Vatican Radio
This tube may have been used in early experimental broadcasts of religious programming from Vatican Radio. Many questions have been raised about the tears that have been found on the sides of this simple glass tube.

Alien Broadcasters
Recently released declassified information from NASA and FBI files has identified this interesting tube. It was alledged to have been found at a UFO excavation site in Nevada. Strange broadcasts of radio signals have been reported from the area. When dusted for finger prints, Hillary Clinton's thumb print was found on the tube. If the truth is out there.. . Somewhere.

Did Edwin Howard Armstrong Dance ?

Edwin Howard Armstrong was a pioneer inventor of broadcast technology. His inventions paved the way for Radio and television as we know it. Armstrong was also an avid square dance enthusiast. He held dances every Saturday night on a large dance platform placed on top of one of his many antenna tower arrays. One Saturday the tower collapsed after a large rowdy crowd gathered for the evening festivities. Armstrong was sued by many of the families and victims of this tragic accident. These lawsuits plagued Armstrong for the remainder of his life.

We do have a photograph of Square Dancers on the tower available. Due to the graphic nature of this photo we have placed it on another page.

John R.Brinkley
MD.,Phd.,M.C.,LL.D.,D.P.H.,Sc.D.,member,National Geographic Society
Many radio broadcasters in the 30's moved South Of The Border to avoid Broadcasting regulations and liability. Dr. Brinkly was one of them. He was radio Surgeon of some note and claimed to be the most learned Doctor in America. Dr Brinkly became quite famous for his broadcasts and an unusual surgical practice of transplanting goat gonads into human recipients. His radio station, XERA was a home for faith healers, questionable patent medicines, lawsuits, country music, controversy and great success. The names have changed but the content remains the same in broadcasting today.

 Howard Stern

The former King Of All Media, retired CEO of CBS & Professor Emeritus of Communications at Columbia University, died today at the age of 95. His success and long career as a 'shock' talk show host paved the way for his buyout of CBS in the late 90's. Shortly after his retirement from CBS he was appointed commissioner of the FCC. He held the Ernie Kovacs Chair at Columbia University. He died a very impotent man.
