BLACK INTROSPECTIVES
Alternate Sundays, 7 AM – 10 AM

Three hours of African-centered public affairs and inner-attainment program that features music, news, interviews, commentary, and listener call-ins. Major areas of focus include: cultural science and practice, and optimizing health (spirit, mind, and body).


COUNTERPOINT

Scott Harris conducts live interviews for two hours on a wide range of local, national and international topics, providing listeners with news and perspectives often ignored or marginalized by corporate media.

Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (F.A.I.R.) offers criticism of the mainstream media to correct bias and imbalance in the nation’s media.


THE FOREST AND THE TREES

A global and local report on the environment. Host Melinda Tuhus interviews newsmakers on issues including deforestation, water privatization, relaxation of federal air pollution regulations and the implications for public health.


HEALTH CARE IN MIND

A monthly half-hour on health policy, politics, and activism covering equitable access to health care and health insurance, how medical care is delivered, how health policy in Connecticut is shaped and implemented, and justice and activism in the health care workplace.


LATINO USA

Produced at KUT-FM in Austin, Texas, hosted by Maria Hinojosa. The only national news radio show about Latinos in the United States. Latino USA reports on all aspects of Latino life in the USA and in Latin America.
