WPKN’s Luis Luna and Marisol Herrera will be MCing this concert. Peruvian singer/songwriter Ricardo Paredes will present a performance on the traditional Peruvian charango. Proyecto Cimarron Folkloric Ensemble,  Puerto Rican Bomba music and dance performance group based in New Haven, Connecticut, will follow. Our Advisory Board member Rick Reyes will close the night with his band, who fuse Rock, Puerto Rican roots, Caribbean rhythms and global influences to formulate a sound that is both cross-cultural, highly danceable, and hypnotically magnetic.
