Jen Durkin & Equinox

Jen Durkin is a veteran of the funk jamband scene best known as a founding member and lead singer of Deep Banana Blackout, and just returned from the Langerado festival in Florida where she played with Mickey Hart. With her new band Equinox, "Jenny Pipes" moves from the rock driven mayhem of Deep Banana into sambafunk with a tasty collection of originals cowritten with Matt DeTroy. Whether she's referred to as the Star Singer of Soul the First Lady of Funk or channeling Robert Plant, Jenny "Pipes" is not easily forgotten.. This diva's voice will reverberate to your soul.
